About Pathways Trauma Therapy
Our Mission
Pathways Trauma Therapy exists to serve clients who are seeking specialized treatment to heal complex psychological and relational trauma wounds. With over 15 years of experience treating complex trauma cases, Kathryn Thompson is passionate about serving clients who might otherwise fall through the cracks.
Pathways was founded in February 2025 by Kathryn Thompson, LCMFT/LMFT to address a growing need for specialized trauma treatment in the Manhattan, KS area. In June 2026, Kathryn's family relocated to Bellevue, Washington, and Pathways expanded to meet the needs of clients in Bellevue and Redmond, WA as well.
Pathways welcomes all clients, especially those who have been undervalued by society and who have been marginalized based on their demographics and/or complex symptom presentation. Therapists are trained to provide trauma-informed care and to recognize the impact of systemic barriers. Clients are not blamed for their struggles, but rather empowered to make changes in line with their own values and personal strengths.
